Personal Opinion about Sewol Ferry Accident

Since the memorial day of Sewol Ferry acciendent was just 9 days ago, there are lots of news commentaries about it. When I look up those posts on facebook, twitter, and other SNS, most of the comments are like these: “I’m so tired of hearing Sewol Ferry Accident.”, “There are lot more memorable things than Sewol Ferry Accident.”, and “There are actually the people who sacrifice themselves to save thier homeland, we should remember them rather than Sewol Ferry.”. They are actually saying the right things, but I saw them quite cold on the Sewol Ferry Accident. I think the reason why we’re still sticking on this problem is that there are so many things which are unclued. Also, I don’t think this accident is related to the people who sacrifice themselves for their homelands. I’m of course respectful on those people but I’m saying that it’s not related to the victims of Sewol Ferry accident. We need to stick more on this issue so that we can finally find out the truth which is covered. If I were the family of the vicims of Sewol Ferry accident, I would also stick on this till everything to be uncovered. We should remember this accident.

About ISIS

ISIS is the short form of The Islamic state of Iraq and Levant. Their activities are based on Syria civil war. To talk about a bit about Syria civil war, we should know Sunni Shia conflict. Sunni Shia had religious difference between them. That’s the biggest reason why they had a conflict. The second reason why they had a conflict is the centralization of political authority. Sunni had more authority than Shia so that Shia resisted. On this mass, ISIS occured in Sunni. Actually Sunni is one of the pretext of ISIS to build the islamic state. Lots of countries helped Sunni militarily but they started to stop helping Sunni as ISIS appeared. Lots of countries announced that we need to bring a counterattack on ISIS, but none of the countries took a step on restraining ISIS. I think we need the cooperation between countries so that we can repel ISIS from this society. image1[1]

The Gap Between the Rich and the Poor

1. The Gap Between the Rich and the Poor?
  • Becoming bigger and bigger
  • One of the most serious problem supernationally
  • it’s caused by capitalism and neo-liberalism
2. Socialist/Capitalist Orientations, or some other paradigm?
  • Socialism: a way of organizing a society in which major industries are owned and controlled by the government rather than by individual people or companies
  • Capitalsim: a way of organizing an economy so that the things that are used to make and transport products are owned by individual people and companies rather than by the government
  • North and South Korea can be the good examples  of these.

I’m going to talk about the gap between the rich and the poor and how socialism and capitalism are related to these.  First of all, I’m going to talk about how serious the rich-poor gap problem is. The gap between the rich and the poor is becoming bigger and bigger, so that it becomes one of the most serious problem supernationally. Lots of economists are saying that this is the result of the capitalism and neo-liberalism. However, the difference between socialism and capitalism also cause the gap between the poor and the rich. For example, North and South Korea, North is following the socialism and South is following the capitalism. As a result, the economic gap between them became much bigger.  Actually, capitalism is more efficient to develop economically than the socialism. Therefore, it’s quite hard for socialist to survive in this society, so we need an adjustment on these world economic structure.
