If I am to give a brief summary of what Sunshine Policy is, Sunshine Policy is South Korean doctrine towards North Korea to aim peaceful cooperation in order to reunify South and North Korea after the Korean War in 1950s. Typical activities of Sunshine policy are mostly about the continuous supports to bring North Korea down to the table of negotiation. To be specific, Kim Dae Joong administration put almost no limits of the scale of investment for the economic growth of North Korea.
We support re-instituting sunshine policy towards North Korea. There are two reasons why we think so. First, North Korea showed the cooperative attitude. Second, the traditional exchange between South and North Korea became more active.
